Award Ceremony - April 6th

Annual Awards Ceremony
We are so thrilled to announce the 2024-2025 FST Awards Ceremony, on April 6th at 5:30 p.m.! As in previous years, the event will be held at The Muse Theatre in downtown Perry. This will be a night all about celebrating our athletes for their hard work and accomplishments throughout the 2024 Long Course and 2024-2025 Short Course seasons. We encourage everyone to dress up (Sunday dress is fine!), and come enjoy a night of awards, food catered by the Butcher Shop, and music from a great DJ.
This is a ticketed event. Tickets are $25/each, and must be purchased by April 2nd. To purchase tickets, be sure you are logged in to the website and then visit the registration page for your training site,

See details on the awards given and the systems we use to determine the award winners:
- Participation: All attending swimmers are called on stage by training group to receive an award. Swimming isn't an easy sport, and while they are called "participation awards," these awards are truly earned - by their hard work and dedication.
Note: Each of the following awards requires participation in at least one USA Swimming competition each year.
- I.M.Ready: We recognize this achievement for all Bronze and Silver swimmers who have participated in the requisite events for their age groups. The event requirements can be found here. The purpose of this award is to encourage and reward those swimmers who push themselves to swim longer distances in all of the strokes, rather than just sticking to their "favorite" events.
- I.M.Xtreme: Similar to I.M.R., but more challenging. We recognize this achievement for all FST swimmers who have participated in the requisite events for their age groups. The event requirements can be found here.
- Most Improved: USA Swimming assigns "Power Points" to each swimmer's race, based on how their time compares to other swimmers of the same age/gender throughout the country. To determine who qualifies as Most Improved, we compare each swimmer's Power Point totals from the previous year (2023-2024) to the current year (2024-2025), based on their fastest times in each event. The swimmer from each age group with the highest point total improvement wins! The idea is to swim a variety of events and always try to improve your times.
- Motivational Time Standards are set by USA Swimming for each Quad (between Olympic years). We pull a report from USA Swimming and award swimmers for the highest standard they have achieved across all events, at any USA meet. See motivational standards here.
- High Point Winner: The top Power Point earners of the year are named our High Point Winners. These are our highest achieving athletes of the year.
