How to upgrade to a Premium Membership from a Seasonal or Flex Membership

First, a reminder:
- 12&U Flex members can participate in two USA meets each year, not including championship meets. Once your have exceeded the two-meet limit, or prior to attending a championship meet like Divisionals or State, you must upgrade to Premium.
- Individual Season members must upgrade their membership before the expiration date. Once an individual season membership has expired, the swimmer will be required to re-register (vs upgrade) and the only option will be a full-price, Premium membership.
To upgrade a membership for your athlete, first log into your account at hub.usaswimming.org
Next, click "View" next to the family member's name in the "My Family" section.

On the following page, click "General Info" in the My Account section (be sure you clicked "view" next to your athlete's name first).

After clicking "General Info," you will be taken to the "View/Edit member" page. Click on the "Upgrade" pill and then click the checkbox on the right for the membership you would like to upgrade. At the bottom, click "Upgrade Selected Memberships."

Next, you will be taken to the Shopping Cart. To complete your upgrade, you will pay the difference between your original membership and the upgraded membership. Click "Check Out" to begin the payment process.

Enter your credit card information and click "Pay" in the bottom right corner.

You have successfully completed your upgrade! If you want to confirm that the upgrade was successful, return to your dashboard, click "View" next to your athlete's name, and on the following page click "General Info." Then click on the "Affiliations" pill. Click on the down arrow in the Member Affiliations table to view all affiliations. You should see the upgraded registration above the old one, with today's date as the effective date.
