MAKE A DIFFERENCE ON DECK
Learn the sport. Support your swimmers. Become an official.!
We need more stroke and turn officials, and we’d love for you to join us! More officials help meets run smoothly and create a better experience for everyone, while giving you a fun way to meet new friends, fulfill your volunteer requirements, and learn more about the sport your kids love. Get started HERE, or email Amanda at admin@swimfst.com for more information.
A Note from the Coach:
NEW THINGS AHEAD
We have a couple of things in the works that we’re looking forward to sharing with you this month:
Watch for an email about access to the SwimStrong dryland app. Families will be able to use it for at-home dryland workouts when needed, along with information on nutrition and mental performance.
I’ll also be leading a parent webinar during the month of October, focused on swimmer progress, personal bests, and understanding your swimmer’s development. This the first step in building more parent education resources, and we’re excited to get started. Details will be sent by email. If there’s a topic you find confusing or overwhelming, please email your webinar topic suggestions to
admin@swimfst.com. Your suggestions will help us plan future webinars.
At this point in the season, we are focusing on:
- Increasing intensity
- Technique, technique, technique
- Developing good attendance habits and consistent training
